NEW! The Webel SysMLv2 online self-study courses!
Webel One-on-One web sessions
(4 hours of individual training)
Need some additional help with your SysML studies? The Webel Educational Consultancy web sessions service offers you direct one-on-one help with challenge topics. This product qualifies you for 4 hours of web sessions (usually as 1 session).
Please read below for full details of the requirements and conditions for qualifying.
About Webel one-on-one web sessions
To qualify for Webel's Educational Consultancy web sessions for SysMLv2 you must have purchased access to the main Webel SysMLv2 Language online course (optimally as part of a bundle together with the separate Balls & Boxes exercises)
or you have already attended a Webel SysMLv2 Workshop Seminar group course.
Before you schedule your web sessions, it is expected that you have studied the SysMLv2 Language course slides at least up to and including the section on SysMLv2 Parts, and that you have at least attempted to complete the separate Balls & Boxes worked sample problem exercises on the basics of structure and value modelling in SysMLv2 up to the STAGE #1 MediumBallBox exercise. If you have struggled, however, to complete that exercise, by all means ask for one-on-one help via web sessions, that's what they are for! We only ask that you give the exercises your best shot first.
Similarly for SysMLv1, to qualify you must have EITHER already attended a Webel SysMLv1 Workshop Seminar group course OR you have purchased the Webel SysMLv1 course slide set bundle, which is available for purchase on Gumroad, and includes the SysMLv1 version of the Balls & Boxes worked sample problem slide set (for basics of SysMLv1 Blocks & Values). Again, it is requested that you please first study at least the first section of the Webel SysMLv1 slides and attempt at least to reach the Balls & Boxes MediumBallBox exercise.
For full details about the Webel Educational Consultancy web sessions service and the booking process please visit this guide on the Webel IT site. On purchasing your web sessions product you will be sent an Info Pack PDF and Questionnaire PDF Form where you may nominate your preferred session dates. We hope you understand that we can't always offer sessions on exactly your preferred dates and time. A final booking is ratified through a simple Educational Consultancy Services Agreement PDF document. In case of illness or misadventure we can using reschedule easily.
The web sessions structure - unlike a formal Workshop Seminar group course - is informal and there is no specific topics outline. You simply discuss with the trainer your challenge areas, preferably with reference to course slide sections or numbers. The Questionnaire PDF Form also enables you to describe your aims and needs.
The web sessions are usually held as 4-hour blocks, which is just enough time to delve into challenge areas with sufficient depth, but not too long to concentrate!
For exercises, you of course need Cameo Systems Modeler (we don't offer support for other SysML tools), and we recommend that you use dual displays if possible.
